I would hope if anyone can help me. I’m thinking of opening an travel agent very soon. I was looking for a software that can search the flight and hotel of from other tour operators. I don’t no much about the travel industry itself but I do a lot of book a lot of holiday for people. I used the web site teletex holiday and onthebeach.co.uk.
Can anyone provide me any information on which is the best software to used. And how much they roughly cost.
I’ve seen a site on the net by explorer travel, which is a franchise company. Has anyone used that company and what is it like. I have notice that they are very restricted in the product like they don’t do Dubai holiday. . Thank you very much.

Hi Jawad,
there is a whole range of software that performs this - and the costs vary from a few hundred pounds to thousands. Before going ahead you need to have a good think about what your target market is, what volume of bookings you think you can achieve and what requirements your clients will have. Based on that you can look for the most appropriate tool.

Hi Jawad
As Ronald says there are many sytems but my question for you is this:- if you are intending to set up a travel agency you need a licence if you are trageting UK originating tourists unless you are an offshore Company (i.e not yourself based in the UK)
If not you can "white label" a system such as the one offered by Skyres.com.

THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION. I COULDN'T FIND MUCH INFO ON WHITE LABEL. THEY ARE FEW COMPANY OUT THAT DO A FRANCHIES. HAS ANYONE USED EXPOLER TRAVAL. OR ARE ANY OTHER COMPANY LIKE THAT OR IS ANYONE WILL TO GIVE ME A COMMSION FOR EVERY HOILDAY I BOOK WITH THEM. MY TRAGET CUSTOMER ARE PEOPLE LOOKING FOR CHEAP HOILDAY BUT TO EGYPT, DUBIA OR TURKEY. AND ALSO FOR FLIGTH IT WILL BE MANILY TO PAKISTAN OR BANGLADHESH.
