by browsing through the contestants of the Travel Innovation Summit 2009 I found www.tripzipr.com, very new and slim...but pretty helpful maybe.
What Do you think about this and the service and potential behind that?

This is a good idea - however it requires getting it absolutely right technically. Not sure this is a great first project!
Still prefer your New York idea that you mentioned in the other thread! If you wanted to do offers, you could create a New York offer service for people who are already in the city....
HOWEVER you would need to do this at scale to make it work - and frankly you would be up against the big companies straight away - so leave that to them - and do something else that doesn't compete with the big budget companies head on

thanks a lot for your feedbacks so far. Very helpful for me!
The site tripzipr.com probably doesn`t require great technical skills because as I understood they scan the best deals so far manually an deliver it to the phones of travellers. But you are right, with services like that you enter a pretty crowded marketplace with al lot of other sites offering best deals etc.
I think about the New York thing..:-)
