PTR for new business (selling Polish walking tours to people in UK)
Hello, my name is Waldemar Leszczyński and I am Polish. I am going to go into business in Great Britain and pay my taxes here. I would be very grateful if I were given all the essential help via e-mail, that would be answer to the following question:
- what should I do to get a guarantee required by the PTR?
Below the main characteristics of the planned business is shown:
1. Firm – internet tour operator.
2. Economic activity profile:
- preparing of any tourist undertakings in Poland for organized (up to 50 people) groups of tourists, filling their individual orders,
- conducting and managing any tourist undertakings in Poland for organized (up to 50 people) groups of tourists, filling their individual orders.
That means that all the trips, excursions, holidays and walkings in Poland will me tailor – made travels.
Legal proceedings of any type, including signing contracts of tourist services, will take place on the territory of Great Britain.
As my company could be a niche operator in tourism I have started to think how to be a valuable asset to British tour market.

Don't know whether I can give you the advice you've asked for but may be able to offer you an alternative solution. Instead of setting up a company here in UK would you consider establishing an alliance with somebody like ourselves. We provide walks in the UK, (specialising in Derbyshire, The Peak District and the National Forest) to the UK domestic market and inbound markets. We've recently started to promote tours further afield, like a Mississippi Madness Tour and I'd be happy to explore opportunities to feature your tours in Poland.
