Helping specialist tour operators and activity providers with travel ecommerce

Hi everyone!

I'm new in marketing in travel industry and I'm interested to hear all ways how travel agents, travel agencies and tour operators find new customers and sell tours. What channels they use, online and offline, what works the best in which country, especially in the UK, what are usual and what are some unusual ways you know etc.? How to begin when you are small?

Giving offers, coupons, discounts can promote your travel packages. Now-a-days offers are attracting more and more leads.

Hi Drazen,

I am inbound tour operator in Myanma (Burma).

Let me mention some of my methods here.

I open two ways : online and human channel (word of mouth)

For online...

consider social media such as Facebook, twitter, youtube and etc.

online forum like tripadvisor, thorn tree, fodors and etc...

have your own website and try to link back from outer sources to your webpages.

Human channel (word of mouth) is innegligibly important to be some part of your business. Try to have your clients to be your marketers. There are many ways out there what you can imagine and innovate.

Sorry to late reply.

Good Luck

This has been so great and useful to me. Thank you very much ko phyo
