ATOL Reform
For those of you that are interested, there is a live debate on e-tid tomorrow about ATOL reform. The results of the overall consultation are likely to affect ATOL and non-ATOL travel firms.

The debate has just finished.
To summarise, all of the panel are in favour of the reform although they would like to see them go further and protect more types of holidays. The industry is looking more likely at additional Regulation rather than less.
The consultation on these reforms is likely to be available at end of April 2011 with the New Regulations in place by 1 January 2012.
The consultation will be available on the Department for Transport website.
